A tiger oil painting is up for sale in Calgary and Edmonton.

The Lion and the Unicorn by James Cameron is one of several films about the iconic British explorer and author, who died on June 6.

“He loved the art form and the world and so did I, and we both have very different approaches to the work,” said Jamie Czerniak, an art director at a Toronto gallery that specializes in art-making for children.

Cameron’s first film, The Abyss, was released in 1994.

It starred Michael Fassbender as the character, who was captured by the Nazis and tortured for more than 100 years.

The film was widely considered a failure, but Cameron was still making films, and a sequel was announced in 2006.

Czernak said he was surprised to see the film go on sale after years of anticipation.

“I’m so happy to see it being sold in a nice way,” he said.

“It’s such a rare opportunity to buy a work of art, and I’m thrilled to be able to support it.”

Cameron also produced the critically acclaimed Titanic, which is now a cultural landmark.

Cars, bikes and other items are available on the auction site.
